WWW Wednesday | October 16th

WWW Wednesday was formerly hosted by Should be Reading and is now hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

What are you currently reading?

Yesterday, I started The Case of Windy Lake by Michael Hutchinson, a middle grade mystery about four cousins running around the Windy Lake First Nation in order to solve the mystery of the missing archaeologist. It’s giving me the vibes of “Cam Jansen” books or the A to Z Mysteries, which were both series I loved to read when I was little!

What did you recently finish reading?

Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree is the cozy fantasy everyone has been loving, about an orc adventurer retiring in order to set up a coffee shop. My review will be up by the end of the week, so I won’t say much more than I enjoyed it!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Most likely, I’ll pick up an audiobook by Louise Erdrich to listen to for the rest of the month. In my TBR, I said I’d pick up LaRose, but I’m not a hundred percent sure that will be the one. I also have my eyes on The Sentence and The Night Watchman.
