WWW Wednesday | June 15th

WWW Wednesday was formerly hosted by Should be Reading and is now hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

What are you currently reading?

My audiobook right now is Come Tumbling Down by Seanan McGuire. I’m rereading the Wayward Children series in chronological order, so what happens in world order, so my reading order is #4, 2, 1, 3, 5, 7 (sorry #6, you didn’t seem pertinent). I’m enjoying this as much as I did the first time! It’s probably my second favorite Wayward Children book!

I’m also still getting through my eARC of All Their Astral Light by Quinn Caslan, It’s an indie high fantasy book about several people who are touched with the power of the stars, reeling from a shift in the power of their world. It is very thick, which is why it’s taking a while, but I’ll hopefully finish it before the end of the month!

What did you recently finish reading?

Beneath a Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire. What I’m discovering this reread is that I prefer the quest books to the prequel standalone prequel novellas. They are all great books, but I think it’s the cast that solidifies the odd numbered books as my favorites.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ll probably finish Come Tumbling Down today, so next would be Where the Drowned Girls Go, but in order to talk about something other than the Wayward Children series this post, let’s talk about my next ebook!

For Queer Blackathon, a 48-hour readathon run by Jesse of Bowties & Books from June 19th-21st, I’ll finally be reading All Boys Aren’t Blue by G. This is a memoir-manifesto that I’ve only heard amazing things about and have been meaning to read ever since it came out!
